DAY 21 - TWO GET THREE

He that followeth after righteousness and mercy findeth life, righteousness and honor. AKJV
God is the God of all flesh and there's nothing He asks that we do He isn't doing. If His word says, Pray! God Himself prays, groans with words which cannot be uttered or expressed, Rom 8:26. If His word had said, wait! Be rest assured, no one waits like God. He did so at Creation, having spoken His word waited to see His own word come to pass. God waited to receive same promise.
There's virtually nothing God requires of us that He doesn't do - practically nothing. If His word had read, "follow after righteousness", you can be sure God Himself pants seriously after doing the right thing and would prefer rather not exist than do any evil or perverse thing. This was why the Lord called them blessed, those who hunger and thirst after righteousness, children of same God, because they'd be filled - Matt 5:6.
To "follow after something" is not a mere closing in on something just to have it. Nay, it is a strong active word which means, "following to become". And till you become that oak of righteousness, the righteousness of God you don't go rest your oasis. This following to become was demonstrated by Elisha while ministering to Elijah. He never rested until got the double portion of Elijah's spirit or workability - 2Kings 2:1-14.
Bro, if your desire is to always do what's right, I say Congratulations! Sis, if you're always trying to do God's will, I thank God for you. Noah was, always trying to conduct himself in the will of God. And God found him worthy and faithful of saving the whole world. While everyone was satisfying and gratifying their lusts and desires, Noah ran instead, he panted and thirsted, hungered and sought after the will of God. With Noah alone, God was satisfied and thence cancelled other obstinate beings and brought to extinct all humans - famous or infamous, even Methuselah all perished in the Flood, Gen 6:8-9 TLB.
