DAY 23 - BIRTHRIGHT OF TRUTH
Proverbs 23:23 • Audio 7.3mins, 2.5mb
Buy the truth and sell it not, also wisdom and instruction and understanding. AKJV
God's word for today says, "Buy the truth" but didn't say, "Buy truth" which could've meant just any truth. But the eternal word for all times speaking today says very clearly, Buy the truth and sell it not! It means there's a specific truth you never must sell though buyable - your birthright, endowed gifts, natural talents and the things of grace which are given freely.
Esau irretrievably sold off his birthright, without a second thought because he already lost the other parameters, accompaniments, those protective guards over his birthright - understanding, instruction and wisdom. In that wise, the economic important rights of being the elder brother was lost as it was written, "Then Jacob gave Esau bread and pottage of lentils and he did eat and drink and rose up and went his way, thus Esau despised his birthright."
Esau despised the truism of birthrights because he already despised understanding, instruction and wisdom. That's how hard it is for anybody to easily fall into sin, especially sexual sins which officially is the worst sin ever. Sex makes two become one, inseparable, till death do them part. Divorcing is out of sense. And because of the complications of getting one's soul corrupted with the process of obtaining forgiveness, sex sins are the worst. This was the very reason Sodom was destroyed with Gomorrah.

Now, Esau had blocked his understanding tissues and never cared to understand what exactly birthright was. It meant nothing to him. Naboth was not like that, he refused selling his heritage, his endowment and even died in that course for which God credited him, 1Kings 21:1-13. Yet he died particularly not because of his birthright but his love for honours, the high seat. God Himself could have killed him too if he sold his family rights to Ahab the King. And there would be no vengeance for that. Naboth, probably had rights to the throne.
Second, Esau hated to be instructed. He preferred his cunning hunting job where he was CEO of All Games Unreserved (AGU Ltd), depleting and degrading the forest life to sitting with his father's heritage - taking care of the flock. He wanted be a boss of his own, hunting rats and antelopes, upturning and disturbing the ecosystem. Esau wouldn't stay under instruction but walked aimlessly about, gunning rabbits. He hated instructions, his two wives with him. Whereas Jacob kept the flock, lived in tents like his grandfather Abraham and without any convenience or permanent structure served his father's house on commission.
Oh, there were other things Esau sold off and how he traded them outta his life before finally the Truth was taken away from him. Get this audio recordings downloaded to hear it more and fully updated.
