DAY 28 - SPIRIT OF I

When the wicked rise, men hide themselves, but when they perish, the righteous increase. AKJV
What the word of God terms wicked is quite different from our own definition of wickedness. For instance, if you lit a lamp without remembering to fill it with oil, you're wicked, because you allowed its wick burn without any provisions for oil. That is why the Lord called those that associate with His name but not His nature wicked, saying to them again and again, "Get away from me you workers of iniquity!" Or as to those five foolish virgins, "Oh, I never knew you!"
Being wicked mean something differently from that bad state of life where everybody is detestable to you, you to everybody. The bible is rather basic and resolute in its presentation and says, Wickedness is the "spirit of I". After Adams' fall that God came visiting them in the garden He planted at Eden, He went round but couldn't find the man He created, then yelled on top of His voice, Adam where art thou? Adam in reply said, "I heard your voice in the garden and I was afraid because I was naked and I hid myself" - Gen 3:10.
Adam remembered himself 4 times in one second, "I"..."I"..."I"..."I" and God was very sad that Adam's voice sounded wicked - like that of Lucifer in Isaiah 14:12-15 who said the same thing, though within himself. This time Lucifer concentrated on himself 5 times in a minute - "I will ascend to heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God, I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north, I ascend above the heights of the clouds, I will be like the most High..." The Holy Spirit of God which is the Spirit of everybody, not of I does not think or act that way.
Now though Lucifer was brought down that same day he thought those things in his heart, but do you know he's reappeared in our assemblies today in form of money the image of the beast, Rev 13:1-18, speaking like the Most High, blaspheming that without it nothing can be done?? What are you going to do, bro? Continue to trust mammon the untrue riches or back down? That's just by the way....
It's this spirit of "I" transferred from Lucifer which became Devil to the Serpent the most subtle beast to Adam's wife, from her to Adam himself whose words were founded in Lucifer, first created Being.
