DESIRES OR ROOTS, WORK OR FRUIT?

Proverbs 12:12
The wicked desireth the net of evil men, but the root of the righteous yieldeth fruit. AKJV

Wants and desires are the cognitive nature of humans. And it's all we study in schools, how to manage human wants and desires to meet them. Never forget this, God only created man but man fell and became human desiring and wanting everything. Know this too, being human is not wrong if humanity is the reason.

But if you can trace your steps back to the man God created, you'd be rooting yourself in God. Alleluia! Yet, not that man Adam God created because he was a neutral being, neither good nor bad. And he was to choose the kind of life we'd all live, to determine the nature of man. Unfortunately, mankind fell to Serpent.

In a way, man had evolved from animals - Homo Sapiens.

Now, Jesus Christ came and provided a better strain of life, best for mankind, called new-created-man. This was the image of God that Adam lost in the garden. And for this great work our Lord did through His death, mankind don't have to worry or hurry anymore for that neutral Adam which was prone to falling but long for the NEW CREATED MAN FOUNDED IN JESUS!

Desiring things, especially evil men's things is strongly the human nature's. Gen 6:1-6 say, wickedness of human multiplied and everyone was thinking high, choosing for himself whatever they wished (paraphrased). This made serving God and service to humanity a very hard thing with much hard work and many fall.

Gal 5:19-23, Get your Bible out and read
The works of the flesh.... then, the fruit of the Spirit. The flesh requires working and more work to satisfy or please God. And even at that, it keeps falling and falling into sins. Whereas the fruit is like a fountain, flowing out forcefully but effortlessly and unhindered. Fruits are resultant effect of a well suited, rooted tree. This marks the total difference between trying to work for God and wait on God to work.
