REMEMBER LOT'S WIFE

Proverbs 18:18 • Audio 7mins, 2.4mb
The lot causeth contentions to cease and parteth between the mighty. AKJV

For the mighty to be controlled by a common dice is an unfortunate thing. If the fate, action and faith of the mighty lie in power of lot, of what use is his strength? Where then is all his mightiness or its usefulness? They grow mighty but not with their senses, they become big but not in their ability to make good choices, they turn gigantic without turning off their appetite. So the mighty man not mighty in his thinking but has to be quieted by dice is useless.

Prov 16:32 says, "He that is slow to anger is better than the mighty, and he that ruleth his spirit than he that taketh a city". It's saddening to see a big gigantic mighty man controlled by lot. Where is his number six? How did he become mighty without growing the capacity of his brain and senses in apt decision making? It's no good news!

The mighty men that nailed Lord Jesus to the Cross had to cast lot for have the Lord's seamless garment, Matt 27:35. If not, there would have been a big fight at Calvary each of them deploying his weaponry and battalion members to fight to get a portion of the Lord's seamless garment. If not for grace of a dice, those mighty-for-nothing men would've wounded themselves so much that the Lord would need to come down from the Cross to settle their dispute. Then go back to Cross to continue the sufferings.

It's not good that mighty men are controlled by lot, by dice. Let them rather engage their senses, turn on their thinking faculties, their number six and take informed decisions. Abraham, father of Faith did something wonderful when it came to him taking some decisions in the course of his life... Why not get downloaded this mp3 recording to hear it? It's just seven minutes!
