Proverbs 2:2
So that thou incline thine ear unto wisdom and apply thine heart to understanding. KJV

We are in the world of apps, applications. And the simple difference between the wise and a fool is the lack of understanding which the foolish ones avoid, though knowledge is commonly and freely given to all.

It takes inclining, tuning and refocusing your ear, intentionally applying your heart to be truly wise.

An analogy for this synoptic view is, parable of the ten virgins - Matt 25:1-13

How much of God do you know? How well are you acquainted with the God you claim to worship or serve? Do you even care He exists? Have you taken time out of "no time" to make research about the living God? When God is assumed than known, my friend, it leads to presumptions. You'd suddenly feel God is unjust because He's not evenly distributed. When an evil thing occurs, you'd credit it to God, all because you've chosen to serve an UNKNOWN GOD. You're so quick to release Him your offerings than present Him your very life, the body He made....So, you gave to an unknown God! Unacknowledged, without any eternal reward! COMMANDMENT, THE WRITTEN COMMANDS

Proverbs 13:13 Whoso despiseth the word shall be destroyed, but he that feareth the Commandment shall be rewarded . AKJV Another way to reading today's verse is to say, Whoso devotes himself to money shall be destroyed. This is because of what Luke 16:13 writes, " No servant can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will hold to the one and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon" . The reason anyone would despise the word of God, maybe not to read or careful to observe what's therein is his love and devotion to money. Trust in the power of money and its ability to solve problems answering all things is actually what God calls poverty . Or say in 21st century terms, he has 666  code written on his forehead or right hand. See, the opposite of God is not the devil but money. THE KINGDOM, AAC 2025

Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence. John 18:36 KJV Whilst the Lord answered every question but one that Pontus Pilate asked Him, He never did reply to Herod's allegations nor helped his understanding. The rationale behind this one unanswered question, "What is truth?", continues to thrill every lover of God's word. There was a huge silence in Pilate's courtroom as the Lord did say nothing. The kingdom is not of this world in which people spend their lives and entirety defending an unknown course or covering up for others, apparently non-true things.
