REFLEXIONS MAIDEN - CLOSE TO THE FIRE
Ecclesiastes 12:1-2 • 33.5mins, 10mb
Honor and enjoy your Creator while you're still young, before the years take their toll and your vigor wanes, before your vision dims and the world blurs and the winter years keep you close to the fire. MSG
Praise, honour and praise be to the God for seeing another grace to start up a new form of praises to heaven, the type that Jacob our father loves! For if God be God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, all of who lived in tents and by so gained eternity, Jacob a father is able to grant unmerited favour to every who walks righteously before God. Amen
Today, I begin this type of praises this kind of thanksgiving - living as I should, Ps 119:7 TLB. This translation of the Bible verse explains why the words of our mouths are not actually its fruit but our deep actions which spells its consequences. "After you have corrected me I will thank you by living as I should." It means to live corrected is a better offering than the dances and those empty songs of praise. God takes no delight in offering and sacrifice but a life sacrificed - dedicated to doing good always.
Of what use is begging for forgiveness for a sin you'd still live to commit? What benefit is there in pleading for clemency for an offense that sticks with you? What would God do with a good song, a nice praise song but sung by a sinner who has no thought for right living? The way to really really thank God is living a corrected life, not life of corrections. Such lives bring to God pleasant aromas of praise.
This maiden edition presents the very words of the Preacher, Teacher and Ecclesia leading a new way to God as written in the Twelfth chapter verses one and two. Kindly download this audio recording to hear it as runs 33 minutes and only a tip of the iceberg. I pray God that grants you understanding of how precious you are to Him, so don't waste it in empty praises.
