THE KINGDOM, AAC 2025

Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence.

John 18:36 KJV

Whilst the Lord answered every question but one that Pontus Pilate asked Him, He never did reply to Herod's allegations nor helped his understanding. The rationale behind this one unanswered question, "What is truth?", continues to thrill every lover of God's word. There was a huge silence in Pilate's courtroom as the Lord did say nothing.

The kingdom is not of this world in which people spend their lives and entirety defending an unknown course or covering up for others, apparently non-true things. And does it not surprise you that another kingdom is set up on earth side by side humans' - always agreeing to harm or champion an unjust course?

God's kingdom is about the Truth. The Lord's followers, who were eyewitnesses to the life and ministry of Jesus Christ, could have spent a large chunk of time engaging the Jews, trying to explain things, defending that the Lord was clean. But these little ones did not attempt to, just as Pilate's deepest quest was left unattended.

This kingdom is completely different - the ideologies, thoughts, perceptions, implementations, just everything is. For a whole year, 365 days, 52 weeks, January to December 2025, by grace I shall be examining this way of the kingdom - so different! So help me God.
