And it was so, when the days of their feasting were gone about, that Job sent and sanctified them, and rose up early in the morning, and offered burnt offerings according to the number of them all: for Job said, It may be that my sons have sinned, and cursed God in their hearts. Thus did Job continually. KJV
I welcome you the beginning of Lunar Summons. Twelve months or thirteen lunar months make a Year. If there is "Reflexions" for the first day of the month, at the full moon, I trust that God will release us "Summons" from highest heaven. And all bible books with thirteen Chapters shall be the focus here, God helping me.
The righteous Job opened these chapters of his life with his fears, what he most dreaded - losing his children. Technically, the story of his life was found to have started at chapter three verse twenty-five and six saying, "For the thing which I greatly feared is come upon me, and that which I was afraid of is come unto me. I was not in safety, neither had I rest, neither was I quiet; yet trouble came." KJV
As diligent as he was, not folding hands nor living at ease, not commonizing spiritual things nor belittling common things, not living in frivolities but always praying and seeking the face of God, by lifestyle helping and not epping people, yet trouble came to him. Job worked very hard staying awake both night and day, trying his best to do God's will while charting paths for his children that there be no losses, yet what he feared most happened him!
Each of Job's children - seven sons held his day, celebrated his birthday, on the same occasion would invite other sons and their three sisters for the big feast. And just immediately after their exorbitance and excessive jubilations, at the closing of the year to begin a new one, Job would summon his children, call them together before God to purify, sanctify and consecrate them by burnt offerings. Job did this continually.
Now originally by God, the birthday is a feast, one of the feasts God gave the Israelites to keep from generation to generation. And it's also followed with some strict guidelines, for instance, how long it must be and with what shall it be celebrated. Deuteronomy 16:16 spells it all - Three times in a year shall all thy males appear before the LORD thy God in the place which he shall choose; in the feast of unleavened bread, and in the feast of weeks, and in the feast of tabernacles: and they shall not appear before the LORD empty.
The feasts therefore are,
1. Feast of Passover or Unleavened Bread
2. Feast of Weeks or Ingathering
3. Feast of Tabernacles or Booths
Not in any of these three mandatory feast is anyone permitted to come before the Lord casually and empty, unfruitful or barren like that servant with little capability who was helped with one talent but buried it, came before master empty-handed. You'd note that the single talent man didn't return to his house. The only thing he had was collected from him - his very life was taken. Matt 25:24-30
Birthday is an holy feast and your own Passover! In it, you remember the Day you passed from one world to another, from the womb to woods, you passed from within your mother to mother earth and death passed you over. In it, you're reminded of the Red Sea and how God had mightily delivered you. But before you jump at this offer, let me ask you: ARE YOU A MALE? ARE YOU A SON? ARE YOU A MAN? AND WHEN DID YOU BECOME ONE? This glorious celebration is meant for "sons" only, for "men", for "males", not everybody.
